Position: Editor-in-chief (for one year)
When: Editor from March 1986 to March 1987; served on staff from Sept. 1984 to May 1989
Where: River Falls, Wis.
Duties: Starting as a freshman doing page layout, I quickly moved up to Arts & Entertainment Editor of my campus newspaper by the end of my first year. Beginning in March 1986, I became the paper's top editor, a post held for a year. Afterward, I served in varying roles, usually as a page section editor (Education, Business).
